I had the privilege of contributing to the design elements for my cousin's wedding, collaborating closely with the bride and her wedding planner. Our collective efforts focused on crafting graphics that complemented the wedding theme—a lively and colorful celebration. My specific responsibilities included creating a distinctive wedding logo, crafting the invitation, and designing various day-of items.
For the logo, we chose a logo-type treatment that exuded a delightful blend of nostalgia, playfulness, and a groovy aesthetic. This choice set the tone for the overall design scheme. Drawing inspiration from the logo and invitation, we incorporated vibrant hues of pink and orange into additional pieces. These elements were strategically employed to enliven the venue's clean, white walls, resulting in a visually striking and dynamic atmosphere for the event.
