I had an opportunity to redesign Jackie Robinson Foundation with Squeaky in 2015 when they wanted their site to to appeal to a younger, more web savvy audience. As one of the lead designers, I helped create a site with a clear, concise layout, with user interface to appeal to a younger generation of site visitors. I also had an opportunity to pioneer social media design templates to help attract students and donation sponsors alike through usage of quotes, facts about Jackie Robinson, as well as events related to the foundation.
Overall, the newly redesigned site helped students, scholarship providers, and donors receive the information they need to better serve the community. The site highlights the Foundation’s commitment to social justice and provides users with an overall positive experience: To learn more, participate and donate.
